• Project Name: Expansion of the CEDI Warehouse – BM Supermarkets

Expansion of the CEDI Warehouse

Area: 2400 - 2500 m²

The development concept for BM Supermarkets is based on the design of versatile industrial facilities capable of adapting to different uses and responding to the operation’s gradual growth. With this in mind, the expansion of the Distribution Center (CEDI) warehouse is designed as a flexible infrastructure, prepared for future expansions and functional adjustments.

The project includes an area of approximately 2,400 to 2,500 m² designated for storage, conceived from the outset as a replicable module. Its structural configuration is based on modular metal frames that allow for the longitudinal and lateral extension of the building, facilitating expansion without affecting existing operations.

Structurally, a hybrid system is used that combines concrete pedestals with steel anchor plates, upon which a main structure of W-type beams is erected. This system ensures stability, rapid construction, and cost efficiency. The building envelope is constructed using thermal insulation panels (thermopanels), which help maintain comfortable thermal conditions inside the warehouse, promoting both employee well-being and proper product preservation.
