Design Workshop 10 – Marine Production Center, Puntarenas, Costa Rica

The project of consists of a mariculture center in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. It focuses on the sustainable development of floating marine farms for the controlled farming of marine species such as shrimp and fish for local consumption and mollusks. The objective is to generate employment, produce quality food, and contribute to the local economy.

The project includes research, sustainable practices, support infrastructure, and collaboration with regulatory authorities to ensure regulatory compliance. The design includes reception areas, urban space and scientific laboratories at sea.
