Design Workshop 9 – Conjunto Católico, Copey de Dota, Costa Rica

This project was part of the design workshop 9 assignment at the School of Architecture, University of Costa Rica. The Copey church is conceptualized as a contemporary proposal, seeking simple lines with changes in direction. The geometric hierarchy is replicated in the volumetry that rises upwards, creating a sense of spaciousness and providing a large amount of natural light.

It has spaces in the architectural program such as portico, main nave, ambulatories, catechism classrooms, event hall and plaza.
